I don't know what the package was named, since I don't install games at
all. If nobody should be able to tell you the name of the package, try
the web interface package search
http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?keywords=sudoku&searchon=names&suite=xenial§ion=all
and command line package search
apt list -a *sudoku*
and/or
apt search sudoku
or maybe exclude development packages
apt search sudoku|grep -v "\-dev"
or perhaps the IMO best package management GUI
sudo apt update && sudo apt install synaptic
then run
sudo synaptic
to search and install sudoku related packages.

Ralf
