Installer pacakage

Hi,
There were several cases of inconsistencies while installing on
different machines.
Just for example, when installing on an ubuntu machine, overriding an
existing installation, on one machine the installer suggested me the
correct time zone while on another machine, which had the same version
of existing ubuntu, it did not and I had to select manually.
Another quirk that I encountered that it once suggested me the wrong
hostname to use (it was on a different machine on the same rack),
while on other machines it suggested the right hostname.
