This is good advice and I second it.

I used to run a 10base-2 network -- thin Ethernet, with BNC connectors
-- at home, well into the 21st century. About a decade ago, my home
ADSL connection became faster than my network, so I transitioned to
wifi around the house and 100base-T for the desktops in my computer
room.

I must admit, I thought I might be the last running thin Ethernet
network in the country. To discover that someone is still running
Little Big LAN today has made my day! :-D
