Ubuntu 16.10 kernel crash on boot in VMware Workstation 12 Pro

Hi,

I'm running a Windows 7 x64 SP1 host machine where installed the
VMware Workstation 12 Pro 12.1.1 build-3770994.

I downloaded the ubuntu-16.10-desktop-amd64.iso and installed to the
VMware Workstation.When it finished installation and do the reboot,
Ubuntu hang and the kernel stack trace screen shown

The guest configuration is simple:

Ubuntu 64bit, 4GB RAM, 1 Processor, 32GB SCSI HDD, SATA CD/DVD(load
the Ubuntu ISO), Bridged NIC, USB 2.0, Sound Card, Printer, 1 Display
1440 x 900.

Any idea to fix this problem ?
