Installing Ubuntu 14.04 on new laptops.

Has anyone had any experience installing Ubuntu 14.04 on either of these two 
laptop models:

Lenovo,T420, I5 2520M, 2.5 GHZ, DDR3, 8GB,
320GB, 14.0W, GB NIC, AGN, DVD/RW, Webcam


HP,Elitebook 8460p, I5 2520M, 2.5 GHZ, DDR3,
8GB, 250GB, 14.0W, GB NIC, AGN, DVD/RW,
Bluetooth & FP Reader

Our local library is looking to buy new laptops and we need to be sure we can 
install Ubuntu 14.04 on them.  The rest of the library's computers all run 
Ubuntu 14.04 as their desktop Operating System (all but one are set up as 
"thin" clients, booting with DRBL).
