I'm not an expert for all those hybride Windows options. Perhaps they
don't harm regarding access to LAN hardware ...

I don't know if Windows 8 does behave different to Windows 10, since I'm
using Linux. Those who use multi-boots with Windows, need to care about
dual-boot issues.
