It's a bug that started around the time of Vivid but hasn't been fixed yet.
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/abiword/+bug/1432271
A workaround is to delete OR rename OR chmod a-rwx this file:
/usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.freedesktop.Telepathy.Client.AbiCollab.service
According to the recently-closed Abiword bug, the bug is due to a Debian
packaging issue.
Here's the Debian bug:
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=781764
As you can see, it was fixed a few days ago, but it's not likely to get
into Xenial unless someone gets motivated to backport the fix in Ubuntu and
file a Stable Release Update (SRU).
