How do we do programmatically set LD_LIBRARY_PATH for this scenario , mono-service ./AudioRecorder.exe where we are running on Ubuntu Linux 14.06 and AudioRecorder.exe is a C# .NET executable.

 Hi Karl,
   i really appreciate the elegance of your approach,

>> In the service stanza of your .service file, add a line like:
Environment=LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/what/ever/you/need

How might I set up or initialize the LINUX service to do: mono-service
./AudioRecorder.exe?

After that, How do I start up all the LINUX services in a way analogous to
Windows services?

Thank you very much.
Frank
