Reaver-Wash in Xenial

Hi All

I'm still having problems getting Wash to work, the version from repo runs but 
does nothing just sits there never finds any AP's

The community build (reaver-wps-fork-t6x) throws 

"[x] ERROR: Failed to open 'mon0' for capturing"

No matter what I do

I have tested (Wash) using Kali Live (USB) on the same PC and all works as 
expected so it should not be hardware releted

And wifite also works on Xenial

Has anyone else tried Wash on Xenial
