It won't help you now, but I recommend Xmarks for this instead.

It syncs Firefox with Chrome, and on Windows, with IE too. (And on Mac
with Safari, but I don't use Safari.)

It also has duplicate detection and removal, and flexible
backup/restore options.

Very handy and free.
