I have just been thru something similar. I don't know if you're looking
for a Windows or Linux replacement, but I've found both.
On Windows, a very similar email client is Eudora. And in Linux--I'm
running PCLOS--FossaMail, which in in the pclos repos, at least the
64-bit ones.
Both of these are closely related to Thunderbird, but do not answer to
Mozilla. The original Eudora came from Qualcomm before Linux was invented,
and FossaMail is a fork by the PaleMoon people.
