Apche 2.4 on ubutnu 14.04

What can you see in the logs of apache when you make the request by ip or name??

Any difference??? Is it happening in all browsers???

The '/etc/hosts' file, I'm supposing is what is in the machine of the browser, isn't it?? Not the file in the server!

Looking at the configuration, why don't you try to change in the tag virtual host, the ip by the name of the virtual host??? I thing it is used to match which vh will serve the request using the 'host' header in the request!
