Is it possible to create a file allowing to listen to a web radio station via VLC or Clementine?

Rhythmbox works fine for live listening, and is I think installed by
default in Ubuntu.

Start Rhythmbox, click on "Radio" in the menu at left, click the "Add"
button, put the URL into the dialogue that pops up, hit "OK" or save or
whatever, then double-click the new entry in the list of stations.

If command line access is what was wanted, Rhythmbox isn't it. Sorry, I
came to this thread late.

Regards, K.
