Perhaps Donald bookmarked the login page and/or stored the username and
password by a browser. Assumed he upgraded by doing a new install,
without keeping home or at least the browser configuration, then he
needs to login using his old username and password, it doesn't happen
automatically, as it did before. When he registered, the data perhaps
was stored without a login and maybe was automatically inserted, when
opening the login page. Donald might not be aware about the difference
between "registration" and "login".
