How to set the single click speed?

Interesting that this should come up now as I'm having the exact same
problem with my logitech mouse, the damn thing keeps double-clicking
when I only single click. It started when plugged into a window$ box,
so I swapped mice with this Linux box and the same thing happens now on
the Linux box. Def a hardware fault.
