Rear Sound Jack Doesn't work

I ran Skype and my sound output switched from the rear jack to the front
jack. I can not get it to go back to the rear sound jack. I have run
alsamixer and pavucontrol and nothing changes when I adjust the
controls. In pavucontrol the soundcard output screen indicates front
speakers, but there is no way to switch to rear speakers.

Does anyone know how to get the rear speaker jack to work?

What files do I use to reset the sound card?
