no network (eth0/wlan0) after reinstall of 15.10

Hi there,

after reinstalling 15.10 (using the option in its install menu to 
reinstall preserving user data) I have no entries in 
/etc/network/interfaces but the local interface.

how can I add the by hand? And have them work of course.
It looks as if just adding the wlan0 interface to 
/etc/network/interfaces does not help.
