Sources are from upstream, the PKGBUILDs could include patches from
an Arch developer, but a user doesn't need to use the patches.

[rocketmouse at archlinux ~]$ grep source /var/abs/extra/firefox/PKGBUILD 
source=(https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/$pkgver/source/firefox-$pkgver.source.tar.xz

However, I usually install binaries. Once I compiled everything from
source for a FreeBSD install, so installing FreeBSD needed several days.
