You'd have a better chance of getting onto multiple CPUs if you had
multiple processes.

If it's anything like FireFox, all your Opera windows and tabs are, by
default, created and managed by a single process. You can tell it to
start a whole new Firefox process with the "-no-remote' option, though
you seem to need one profile for each process.

Check the Opera man pages; can you tell Opera to start a new process?
