Hi,

I don't know what Clam is able to detect and what not and how you need
to set up Clam to recursively scan everything that is important.
I can't understand why somebody freely uses and for what purpose is
interested in Facebook.

However, a browser plugin not necessarily is installed in /home it also
could be installed in e.g. /usr.

To ensure that your virus scanner examines all the wanted directories,
consider to install a few test files:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EICAR_test_file

The German Wiki mentions how different Software names the detected test
file, e.g. ClamAV:

"ClamAV: Eicar-Test-Signature" -
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/EICAR-Testdatei#Von_Virenscannern_benutzte_Namen

Regards,
Ralf
