Wifi Dongles

Why use a dongle on a desktop system? Personally, I'd scour the couch
cushions to get a PCI-Express Wifi card. It'll work better than a dongle.
I just built a new desktop and the D-Link card I have just flies in Windows
and Linux (mine's Fedora, but I think that's not particularly relevant).
