can you please point to the exact package that defines dmidecode in its
apport hook while it does not need this (and does not strip security
relevant info from the data without telling the user or creating the
initial bug as private bug), since you seem to exactly know which
package that is it would be nice to tell the developers so it can be
fixed...

since you aim to be a flavour maintainer and one part of being an ubuntu
flavour means to integrate with the ubuntu ecosystem on all levels to
avoid duplicated work (which includes the bug reproting system and
tools) i assume meanwhile you have used ubuntu-bug by now to prove all
your statements ?

if you can't then please stop the FUD, this gets tiring, are you here to
help and support users or are you here to badmouth ubuntu with unproven
statements ?

lets please go back to "Ubuntu user technical support", this is neither
"Make Ubuntu look bad based on accusations", nor "Ubuntu battle" ...

if you find actual security relevant issues in launchpad:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/launchpad/+filebug
is the place to go ...

if you find them in ubuntu-bug/apport:
ubuntu-bug apport

is your way to get this fixed...

ranting on a ML, attacking others or spreading false info based on
assumptions definitely wont get you anywhere (and if you look at the ML
history, this isnt the first time these words were written to you).
