I have other systems running 4.4.0-53 which are fine too, it's just
this one that is broken. It's an Acer Aspire Netbook with a rather
odd partitioning of the hard disk (because of the way it got to where
it is):-
Device Boot Start End Sectors Size Id Type
/dev/sda1 * 63 63461375 63461313 30.3G 7 HPFS/NTFS/exFAT
/dev/sda2 63463422 312580095 249116674 118.8G 5 Extended
/dev/sda5 310505472 312580095 2074624 1013M 82 Linux swap / Solaris
/dev/sda6 63463424 310505471 247042048 117.8G 83 Linux
