  It was a fully updated Gnome 14.04 system using the the upgrade prompt 
from the software updater from a cold reboot.  The 14.04 system came up 
just fine, but after the upgrade, the upgrade reboot will not start at 
all nor can you go back to a 14.04 boot sequence.
