going from 14.04 LTS to 16.04.1

Such non-specificity makes it difficult to determine exactly what
problems you encountered and potential areas of focus and/or fixups
might apply.

I recently upgraded two desktops from 14.04 to 16.04.1 and had only
one minor glitch that was easily resolved by a simple reboot.  No
major problems since.  I'm planning to upgrade my two laptops soon as
well.
