Perhaps he should post the output of a third command:

  dpkg -l *unity* *xfce4* *lxde* *mate* *gnome* *cinnamon* *sddm*|grep ii

the other commands are still

  ls -l /usr/share/xsessions/

and

  grep SessionDir /etc/sddm.conf

Please format it human readable, perhaps you should redirect the output
of the first command and attach the file.

  dpkg -l *unity* *xfce4* *lxde* *mate* *gnome* *cinnamon* *sddm*|grep ii >/tmp/dpkg.txt
