All apps not showing on Ubuntu 16.04's Software Center

The problem has fixed itself. When I turned on the laptop to take a
screenshot Ubuntu Software was populated with a number of Editor's Picks
and recommended apps as well as various categories to browse. This was
what I was expecting to see yesterday but did not.
For completeness this was an upgrade from Ubuntu 14.04 to Ubuntu 16.04
and I started it by clicking on the icon in the Launcher.
