I'll have to check the logind when I get home from work (late tonight).

But I haven't changed anything else for sure - I've been logged in
continuously for about a week or so.  I routinely don't log out unless
I have to because I would rather not have to reestablish the 10-20
windows I keep open all the time.  I usually only log out for kernel
updates or those that require a reboot.  (Or hangs/crashes, but those
have reduced to 0 recently since I went from an AMD CPU to Intel).

A curious part is that I run the same OS here at work, and it has the
same polkit settings I have at home, and it has no such issues.  It's
also an Intel system, but seriously different hardware.
