This error isn't about backing up /tmp. Duplicity uses a folder
underneath /tmp for temporary purposes during the backup. It's a silly
bug which has been in Duplicity for a while. When /tmp gets cleared
the errors start.

Try clearing the deja-dup settings.

mv ~/.cache/deja-dup ~/.cache/deja-dup.old
