This message _by itself_ occurs on every boot and is completely
harmless. Check your logs, you will see it there. If there are disk
errors there will be other messages, and if you simply grep the log
for the word "error" this will of course show up.

(The root filesystem is first mounted ro on boot, and is remounted rw
after some checks.)
