I will try again.
This <expletive deleted> software, or, gmail, deleted the message
contents and sent an empty message, when I clicked the <Send> button,
so, maybe my system has been breached.
Or, it is just <expletive deleted> software.
Wireshark appears to be unusable.
I have tried to load and run Wireshark.
It loads.
When I select an interface, and then select "Start", I get the error
message below my signature.
Wireshark, in returning the error message below, does not provide a
dialogue box to allow logging in as a superuser, so simply refuses
access, and makes itself unusable.
The error message is below my signature, as I am using rekonq for this
gmail session, and copying and pasting in rekonq, is
bodgy/botchy/(weird and difficult to use, if and when it works). And,
from previous contact with the rekonq people, rekonq is one of the
Linux applications, that is supplied but unsupported.
Right - now, I will try to send this message, and see whether it makes
it, or gets destroyed by the system.

The capture session could not be initiated on interface 'eth0' (You
don't have permission to capture on that device).
Please check to make sure you have sufficient permissions, and that
you have the proper interface or pipe specified.
