Just another small note: if what you have is a cheap RAID controller
integrated into the motherboard, you might get a lot more functionality
and flexibility by just using mdadm software RAID. The controller on my
server at home has RAID capability, but I just use mdadm to get more
control, and because I trust it more with my data.
