Dual boot fizzling!

On my HP PC hard drive, I emptied a chunk of 941 GB  which used to be inhabited by Ubuntu and installed W7.

Windows 7 booted once but after that, the boot procedure does not find a drive to boot and fails.
Then I edit the UEFI bios to boot Ubuntu which works.This hard drive is inhabited by Ubuntu 14.04 LTS which used to own the whole drive and the failing W7 portion. 

I installed Windows twice and the same thing happened twice (for consistency) :)
What am I missing?
