Just make sure that the phone system does not react to the UPS alert.
The server should still shut down, to protect the data stored on it if
the outage exceeds the standby time available. The server will start
automatically when the UPS gets mains power again.
Alternatively, if the phone system is configurable in how it reacts to
UPS alerts, tell it to shut down on low-battery (i.e., later), rather
than just shut down on loss of mains power i.e., immediately).
