updates requiring keyboard input

Well that's interesting! I went through all the settings in "Software
Updater" and couldn't find one that would trigger that. I wonder what is
causing this?

Straight 14,04-1 plus all updates.

The former. But I do often run pt-get manually to install or remove this
or that.
