OK to delete/rename lost+found on disk?

If you are the only user of the machine, I think it should be no problem 
to make the lost+found directory world readable (not world writeable 
though). If you are not the only user, there might be privacy concerns 
because IIRC the lost+found directory would be used in case of a file 
system problem and arbitrary data could end up there.
