Keyboard won't accept input

Looking back in old messages I find this correlates to one problem I had
with wireless mice and a KVM even an old PS2 model.

Seems a wirehead I know explains it as a voltage drop aka the little
radio takes more power than a wired connection.  so I did the lazy thing
and ran two mice.

I also tried the wireless on the KVM with an A_A usb extention cable no
go.  I had to directly connect to the system I was using it on though by
a A_A cable was OK but no KVM.
