Hi all
running 14.04, and ive got some issue going on with nvidia drivers. have
a gt610 & gt740, both cards are compatible with the 352 driver according to
the nvidia driver download page. Ive added the edgers repo and tried a
couple different ways to get the 352 driver to work. through command line,
as sudo apt-get install nvidia-352, and through software updates>additional
driver tab.
nvidia-settings always shows the driver as 304, and so does modprobe , but
additional drivers shows that the 352 as an "open source" driver ? huh?
AND that its activated. see pics here for clarification.

I just want my 3rd monitor to work again like it did on 12.04, all i get is
illusive X as a cursor, using a 2nd xscreen. ideally, I would like to have
all 3 monitors on one xscreen :) any idea if i need to get into
blacklisting things? thanks.
