Freezing when adding a printer

[MARK ARTMAN]

I have a machine running Ubuntu 15.04 (64-bit), 8 GB ram, AMD dual core processor. When I try to add a printer, the computer freezes up and I have to physically restart it. Is this a bug in the OS or am I doing something wrong?
