2 nvidia cards, 2 xserver issue

352.21 would probably be your best bet, as 331.113 doesn't seem to have support for the GT 740.

I normally install the driver straight from NVIDIA (on Ubuntu at least) rather than sorting through the official and add-on repositories, so I can't provide much insight on what repositories have what versions.
