I do not recall if I was using the independant mail server then that I am 
now.  You may be correct.  I did get skype running, poorly, on a lappy 
without enough iron in its britches, from a motel room 600 miles north 
about 7 years ago.  Then I said screw it and bought a cell phone since I 
was in Iron Mountain MI, and it was LD to call more than about 4 miles 
away.
