The stupid email application (gmail) did copy the two lines of the URL
- when I tried it again after seeing your message, and, checked the
URL, I found that it had inserted a control character (?) in the URL,
at the point of the wrapping;

and, in deleting the control chatacter(?) thence so applying the
pristine URL, it worked.
