While you're waiting for someone to answer with what I "hear" you
saying you need, I recently tripped over this out there on the Net:
apt-cache showpkg <packageName>
It provides both dependencies and reverse depends in its output..
Maybe there's something there you can use while you're waiting for
other feedback..
