Are you forced to buy windows in order to solve certain tasks on the internet e.g. like certain banktasks and to update garmin gps maps and other

+1, If a company is offering a service I cannot access I DO NOT pay for 
it and they loose x1 customer, if we all took this approach and told the 
companies why we do so, then perhaps in the not-too-distant-future it 
would not be necessary ;)

Anyway I have found myself using this argument far lees often recently 
so perhaps, just perhaps Android & Goggle Chrome-books are having more 
of an impact than me (and 1 or 2 others) moaning occasionally.

Let us all hope this trend continues and even my company catches up and 
moves into the world where even the EU insist you have a choice of 
web-browser and they still insist you use I.E.!!!!
Still every cloud..... I don't do homework!!
