upgrading 12.04 to 14.04 gives many problems

wine1.7? There is no wine1.7 package in 14.04 as far as (can see). I
think this is the first time you have mentioned that wine1.7 is
broken.
What do you see for
apt-cache policy wine1.7
And you *still* have not responded to my suggestion to
apt-get install wine1.6
That is after Nils suggestion, but I am sure you said you had done that.
