after years of development, person has to waste their hours and days on properly configuring the video card. i understand that properitory talk, but should ubuntu folks publish clear, accurate and step by step directions on configuring all nvidia and other graphics card with EACH release?

and no matter which nvidia driver i use from "Additional drivers"
ver 331.38 -or- 304.117
it just crashes the PC after running for about 3 minutes.

very disappointed.
I use server edition, and CLI UNIX is good. I think the ONLY company which ever got it right was Apple.
