Programs missing after update.

I still don't understand how gcdemu, and cdemu-client was removed from 
my system????

I didn't remove it it was just gone. It seems like Ubuntu is getting 
flakey just like Ms Windows. If you have stop installing the updates 
that defeats the purpose.
