I used 12.04 LTS when it became available (and my previous LTS was at
the end of its life).
At present 12.04 is still the latest LTS version.
 LTS versions save me time (and maybe some problems).

As I am updated using the automatic updates, it updated me to 12.04.04 I
expect.
