System is running in low graphic mode

Hello
I am using ubuntu 12.04. Today morning I got this message "system is
running in low graphic mode".
I tried recovery mode. But console is not opening from recovery mode with
ctrl +alt + f1. Booting it to normal mood, it shows me this message. But i
can open console there. Can you help me what to do next?
