Ubuntu - Latest version14.04

There seems to have been a lot of traffic in this list with people 
having problems with version 14.04. KI am intending to convert my 
laptops to run ubuntu, but I am getting a bit long in the tooth to deal 
with the sorts of problems that people appear to be having. Should I 
delay the changeover for a few months to allow the latest maintenance 
release to settle down?
